Lakai Swim was made with a vision to create luxurious swimwear inspired by exotic destinations around the world. Our goal is to offer unique, standout pieces that not only feel premium but also fit beautifully—designed to make you feel confident and empowered.

Founded by Karney during her studies in fashion business and design, Lakai is a brand born from her deep passion for styling, creativity, and travel. She’s thrilled to bring her vision to life and share it with you.

At Lakai, we’re dedicated to crafting high-quality swimwear using sustainable fabrics, paired with luxe, minimal silhouettes and flattering cuts. Our collections feature thoughtfully chosen colours and prints you’ll want to live in, season after season, from beach days to poolside escapes around the world.

Each Lakai collection is released in limited runs, with exclusive styles and a curated colour palette designed for each season. We focus on timeless swimwear made to travel with you—whether you're lounging seaside or exploring new coastlines. All of our pieces are sold as separates, giving you the freedom to mix and match styles that suit your unique shape. We’re passionate about offering options for a wide range of skin tones and body types. Currently available in sizes XS to XL, we’re actively working toward expanding our size range and coverage offerings as we grow.

The name “Lakai” means “child of the ocean”, inspired by Karney’s upbringing on the NSW North Coast and her travels to the stunning Hawaiian Islands. We’re constantly evolving and learning, with so much more on the horizon.
