Lakai Swim is committed to creating high quality swimwear whilst protecting our planet and oceans we strive to improve and ensure our daily practices are Sustainable, using Recycled, Eco Friendly Fabrics, ethical standards in manufacturing and packaging. At Lakai we have made sustainability simple for you as a consumer. When you purchase a Lakai piece you will not only be supporting our oceans and planet you will look and feel great too.

We use ECONYL® regenerated nylon imported from Italy. These fabrics are repurposed from reclaimed fishing nets & other post-consumer wastes such as plastics and fishing nets from oceans across the world. Through a regeneration and purification process the nylon is transformed into new yarn. By collecting the fishing nets that are used to produce ECONYL® regenerated nylon products, we lessen our environmental impact while also cleaning up the oceans we love so much !

Our printed fabrics are made from REPREVE an American leading fabric produced from post-consumer waste, recycled materials such as plastic bottles, household carpets & more. These fabrics are super soft UV & Chlorine resistant. We also use sustainable approved dyes protecting our planet for future generations.

At Lakai we produce collections in small Limited quantities to reduce impact of waste on our environment all our excess fabric is used to create other items or sampling for new styles. We work closely with our manufacturing team who we adore and produce swimwear to the highest standard as well as being ethically driven. We are very proud to be supporting a better ocean & planet for all.

Lakai’s packaging is made with sustainable materials. We use certified home compostable fully biodegradable satchels for all shipping.
